You need to shave

Here we are, the middle of February already.  I'm not sure where the last week has gone.  Oh well, one more day and then it's the weekend for me.

Yesterday was Valentine's day (which you probably know) and the girls were really into it this year.  We were showered with love - craft, cards, pictures, flowers and a balloon.  The girls each got a little pink bear from Dee (our daycare provider) and that is where Ginny did all her crafts.  She decorated a jar and turned it into a vase and made a door hanger.  All really impressive.  They also got to decorate heart-shaped cookies, which they didn't have time to eat there, so they had them at home.  Those were some red-icing coloured faces and fingers.

Have I mentioned how much CeCe loves Elmo.  If you check out this video or this one you'll see what we have to spend a lot of time listening to.  CeCe walks around all day and sings, "I'm Elmo and I know it."  And they all dance like crazy to the second one.  If you think it's just a lullaby, you didn't watch far enough.  You'll know what I mean when you get there. Nanananananananana!

I haven't shaved in almost three weeks now, and I'm starting to get some not so subtle hints that it's time.  Last night, the bedtime conversation went something like this:
Ginny:  You need to shave.
Me:  I'm growing a beard.
Ginny: You need to shave.

Me: I'm growing a beard.
Ginny: You need to shave.

Me: I'm growing a beard.
Ginny: You need to shave.

Me: I'm growing a beard.
It's hard to fight reasoning like that.  Julie isn't a big fan either.  By not a big fan I mean not a fan at all really.

Jorja brought home a book on sea turtles today.  When she was finished reading it, she had an announcement to make.  Sea turtles are now her third favourite animal.  Right behind monkeys and pandas.  At least we don't have to worry about them as pets.  Later.
